"Alright, now that we've got our bottom sorted out we don't want to have to go back there after we got this pot up; so anything you need to do down there, so it now. Do it in the beginning of the process because you're not going back and doing it again. Alright so go and push this all together because we'll flare it out later. Alright so we've got all this clay here right and it needs to go up so what I'm going to do; load my sponge here with water and just find out where the clay is down here, if you can feel; go and bring it up, alright. Just like that and then come up; don't go all the way up, leave that rim just like it is; stop just below the rim, alright. And by doing that, you're going to leave enough clay up there to where you can make a nice pretty rim and it'll hold the pot together real well, and keep it from warping or cracking or anything funny."
