"Good thing to do with your slabs I like, is to take my rubber rib or kidney and just start doing like that. And what that does is aligns all the clay into itself and makes it really strong. And it's kind of important to do this if you don't have a slab roller because you must, you have to make sure that the clay has been really worked to where it'll be nice and strong. Alright so just go and get rid of these edges here because, this technique here. Let me show you, it makes a tapered edge. So you see, it's nice and thick there, but it's tapered over there. And you don't want that, you want it to be nice and consistent throughout your slab."
