"The butterfly coil is also known as the backpack coil and this is why. You can take these extra straps and form this into a backpack. To do this, just take it over your back, I like to cross mine in the front, and you wrap the excess coils around your waist and the rope. I like to do this a couple times and finish it with a square knot. And now, I can go out to the top, of wherever I want to climb, hook into something and I'm ready to set up my topper I brought, just simply by taking it off. The weight of it usually does a good job, help me out. I take this and untie this and just clip this end right in to wherever I want to go. Then, I double repel down, double rope repel down, and then I'm ready to climb."
