"O.k, so now I'm at the end of my butterfly coil, and I now know where the center of my rope is. This is one of the advantages to the butterfly coil, because you know where the center of the rope is if you're doing top roping, because you just clip in, throw down the coil, it never gets tangled, or anything because of the way that you coil it. Anyway, some guys like to let just the middle of the rope just dangle down, just like the rest of it, but also a lot of ropes have some sort of marking for the center of the rope. Since mine doesn't I actually like to wrap around a couple of times here at the center, and just kind of pass the rope through. Now, to finish the coil, you take the end of the rope that you let the length out from, at the first step, and wrap it around. Then you make a loop, pass it through the top of the coil, and wrap it down, just like we did in the simple coil. You tighten it up, then you just kind of wrap up these loose ends, and I'll show you what to do with these, in the next clip."
