"Alright, another application of the overhand stopper knot is the fisherman's knot. A lot of times when fishermen break their line, they use this knot to tie the broken line to a piece of longer line. The reason why they use this knot is because it's not very bulky, although with this rope it will be a little more bulkier than it is than with their fishing line. You start simply by tying your overhand knot like so, around one end of the rope, then you take this rope and you do the same, just move it through and see how something that resembles that and then you just simply pull it together. This is also just a really sturdy way to bind ropes together, and it doesn't look so bad either."
