"Alright, next we are going to talk about stopper knots. There are a couple of different knots that you can use for stopper knots, but the first one we are going to talk about is the simple overhand knot. You start simply by wrapping the rope around like so and just pulling the other end through just like an overhand knot. Normally I don't tie it that slow. Normally it’s more of just like a loop and then passing the end through. Stopper knots are useful for rope systems. Maybe you are using a pulley of some sort and you don't want the rope to be able to pass through all the way. Maybe you are climbing and you are using a belay device that you don't want the rope to go through that all the way and I am sure there are many other uses you can think of for stopper knots."
