"The next knot we're going to tie is the surgeons knot. As you might expect it's another variation of the square knot. It implements the double overhand and then the single overhand knot. Also as you might guess, it's called the surgeons knot because surgeons use it a lot, which is not a recommended use for our purposes. But anyway, to start tying the knot you'd have it wrapped around something, then you start by doing the double overhand knot. It's a double overhand so you go around twice, you tighten this down, then you do a single overhand knot. Now this knot is a little tricky when you're using a larger rope because it likes to bind up a little bit, which is also kind of the point of the knot, because it's just like a square knot, but it's a little more difficult to untie and offers a little bit more stability. It's also really useful when you're tying up your Thanksgiving turkey."
