"Although I started using this with Dainimpo, a class I used to take when I was a child, I actually advanced my technique by taking a few Aikido courses, and that's why I refer to Jo, because it's Jo technique right here. What you're going to do is you're going to twirl it around your shoulder and you're going to catch it. First thing you're going to do, is you're going to hold it down like this, make sure this end is over here underneath your armpit and the other one, the other end is extending down to the floor. You're going to flip it over, just like this. So, without it, that's what you're doing. Lifting it up. And then you see it right here, move to the side, grab it, do the same thing. Just like this. Grab it, same thing. I meant to do that. And you're going to go ahead and pass it. Just like this, grab it, pass it, grab it. And that's how we pass the Jo."
