"Now let's put our bead-encrusted bird together. Here's all the pieces. We have the head and the body; we have some little tail feathers, and a toothpick. We're just going to glue our bird together. So, I have some good, quick drying craft glue. I'm going to put my toothpick into the head. Remember that we used the toothpick when we were making the the bird pieces. Use plenty of glue to attach the head to the body. The toothpick gives it a little strength so that the head won't be falling off of the body. Now, at this point, you can decide where you want the head positioned. It it gives the bird a real lifelike look to to kind of turn his head on an angle like that, and then to finish up, we'll put a little more glue on the bottom to hold the toothpick in place, and I'm going to snap the toothpick off right there, okay. Okay, now you want to glue the tail feathers on, and all you need to do for that is put a a dab of glue here, and just place the tail feather on the back; like that, very cute. And just another dab of glue on top of that if you want to add a second tail feather. Next, we'll glue our bird to the swing in the cage, and we'll close up our cage."
