Video Transcript

"For our bead encrusted bow, we'll be using some wired ribbon, this one's a sheer ribbon. Any wired ribbon will do. An assortment of beads, I'm using some blue seed beads. You need some scissors, some nice thick tacky glue, and a plate to put the beads in. Okay, let's tie the bow. Now I find the nicest way to tie the bow is to start by making one bunny ear, and then another bunny ear. So you just fold your bow like that and just grasp the two bunny ears and we'll tie them in just a simple knot, okay, tucking it under and through. A simple knot like that. Now just, if you flip it over, and look for that nice center here, pull down the ends, and now it's just a matter of adjusting. You don't to pull too hard so that your center gets too tight because you want it to have a nice knot there, a nice looking knot, and just play with that pulling the ends to make them even and take advantage of the wired ribbon to shape the bow. Pull it open to give it fullness and pull your ends until you're satisfied with the look of the ribbon. Okay? Now to cut the ends, I like to cut them with a little bit of a triangle cut out. So if you fold the ribbon in half, decide on your length, and cut at a diagonal like that, and you get a nice pointed ribbon end and then you can do the same on the other side. Okay."
