"So let's break down this essay process and let's start with the Introduction. Something that you want to do and it's very important for the judges to see is to start with a very catchy Introduction, something that just automatically catches their attention. And it's always a good idea to tell a story about yourself. In this particular essay, I'm going tell you what this young lady put in her Introduction. It says, " I can understand why some youth behave the way they do. I was teased in high school so bad that sometimes I would eat my food in the bathroom. I was anorexic, self-harming and poverty-stricken for a time. This particular young lady's platform is Empowering Our Youth For A Better Tomorrow. So what she's talking about is the struggles that she went through as a young person and how she overcame them through her platform idea."
