"When preparing your platform statement it is a good idea to put it in essay format. One of the reasons that you need to do this is so that is looks more professional and you want to make sure that it's, you know, probably a length of one or two pages. Not too long or it will be a little bit monotonous. The format in which your essay should appear is as follows. The first thing you need to have is an introduction, then three or four different points, then finally the conclusion. So remember that your platform statement should be typed in essay format.
