"Whatever you choose must be something that you are willing to dedicate a lot of time and energy to. My particular platform when I was in pageant was Prevention Of Elderly Neglect. I spend a lot of times in nursing homes and studying the subject and going to actually, you know, really be involve in what my platform is all about. For example, I chose my platform Prevention of Elderly Neglect because for years I had visited and staying in nursing homes and I started noticing that some of the elderly residents there were never visited by their families and that really concerned me so that's how I chose my platform.
