"This next type of hat is a cowboy hat. And this is a view from the front. If you're drawing on one of your croquis that has a straightforward facing, face. Straightforward facing face. This is going to be the best way to draw it. To make sure that, again everything that you do. Needs to be, somewhat exaggerated. From the basic level of the body, exaggerated to be long and lean and slender. That's where it all starts, is your actual person you're drawing, your croquis. It's exaggeratedly, skinny. Your clothing is exaggeratedly drawn to show movement. Your accessories are going to be exaggerated. In order to show feeling. To give it, to give everything in general croqius in this, as a collection. So make sure, when you do a cowboy hat. If you want it to come across as a cowboy hat. That you have the dip, in the top. Then make sure that, if it's front face. If your face is facing front. Then you need to show dimension. Showing dimension with a cowboy hat means that it has to, it needs to dip down in front. Unless, of course, you're doing one of those straw hats. That you flip up and wear to go tubing. That's not what I'm talking about. Or wear to look about. That's not, what I mean. An actual cowboy hat, you need to show that it has a brim. That has a certain shape. And because, you will be drawing it. Like you were looking at it, in real life. Making 3D into 2D, this way. It has to go down, as a brim. And then flip back up. And this right here, is going to be the easiest way. Or it's easiest way, that I've discovered in my own capabilities, to draw it. Is one continuous smile. And then, the part of the band, I guess. What do you say? And then, you have to loop it out, on the sides. Kind of, like ears, nicely. Like dog ears, almost. And that shows the flipping up. And then, going back."
