"Here is another cuff style for you. It is an elastic cuff. An elastic cuff is just that. There is a piece of elastic that denotes the cuff from the shirt and you are going to show it in two separate pieces and the elastic bands it together and makes it two, that is what elastic does is stretches. When you're drawing this and taking it and making it your own it can be, you can have a pleated version of it with an elastic cuff, the whole point of what I'm showing you is that this right here would be obviously, this is a 2D version of a 3D idea so this bottom part because you draw it like this, because you do the waveys, just as easy to say I guess, because you show that means that it is going to be something that folds over, that right here in design speak means that you are going to have it as a fold over, you can't see the elastic because the shirt is folding over it so therefore the elastic is underneath that part and the elastic bands it and pulls it in which makes this part of it gather up."
