"Once you've packed all the things that you know that you're not going to need throughout the day, you have to think about the things that you are going to need throughout the day and think about, you know, like what if an emergency happens. So your first aid kit should go on the outside, some place where it's easy to get to. Your rain gear because there's always going to be storms that are coming through more quickly than you expect, or they can come up out of nowhere. Even if it looks bright and sunny, it could be raining, you know, the next ten or fifteen minutes. So, remember to pack your rain gear in like, side pockets or some place that it's going to be easy to get to. And also, one of the most important things to keep on the outside is your pot cover. At least keep it easy to get to, or you can even put it on your pocket, beginning of the day and just hike with it on your pack the whole day that you're, where you don't have to worry about when it does starts to rain. So, just remember, keep all those things easy to get to. On the outside, things that you might need in an emergency, if it starts raining or if there's an accident, somebody needs the first aid kit."
