"When you are putting things into your backpack you need to think about it in terms of what are you going to need to use so basically the things that you put in first are the things that you put in this main pocket here or the bottom pocket here. They are not going to be that easy to get to and so think about what am I not going to need during the day today while I am hiking. Well you're not going to need your extra clothes so you can put those in and you're not going to need to get to any of the cookware any of the camp stove or anything like that and so you can put those in too. It is really really important to remember to pack those things in the bottom and to pack those things in first because otherwise the things that you are going to need are not going to be close and easy to get to. So basically what you don't need during the day is extra clothing and all of your food and cooking that you are going to be needing for breakfast and for dinner."
