Adjusting Backpack Shoulder Straps

"Once you've found a backpack that you're happy with you need to go ahead and start making the smaller adjustments that's going to make it fit you a lot better and make it more comfortable for you to wear on your trek. So one of the problems you might have is that too much or too little of the weight of the pack is on your shoulders and so the easiest way to fix that is by changing these adjustments here on the shoulder straps. As you can see there's a whole bunch of different slots along here. And basically the way that it works is that behind this there is a little metal, basically piece that's attached on there. And you can push that through the slot. So that's what it looks like on the end. And what you do is you basically turn it sideways and then push it into the slot that's appropriate and fitting for you. You can try moving it up and down and there's actually two here. So it throws the weight more evenly so if you feel like there's not enough weight on your shoulders, then that means that the straps are too high up, so you should move them down. And if you feel like there's too much that means that the straps are too low down so try moving them up a little bit. And that's how you can change the height of the straps on your backpack."
