Another thing that you're going to want when you start your painting is lots of fresh water. You want to make sure you're going to be around a source of water because you're going to be cleaning your brush hopefully, frequently. Remember that you want to always be cleaning your brush between paints, otherwise you're going to end up with that muddy color. Don't want that, so you want to be constantly cleaning your brush and not leaving it in the water. So you're going to want to use a bigger container. This actually is a little bit small. You want to use something even bigger than this if you have the chance. A tip would be, as something I really like to do is get old milk containers, cut around the top. And that's nice and big, you can have lots of water in there. You want to constantly change it. Make sure that it's always going to be kind of clear, because when you have a lot of pigment in your water, then that's going to end up making your colors a little bit dirty looking. It's going to make them a little bit muddier, so you want to always have clean water, and you want to make sure that you don't leave your brushes in the water. Take them out, clean them, sit them down.
