"The stability ball adds a whole new meaning to challenge when you attempt to use it while doing the scissor. Putting the ball under your lower back, go ahead and allow yourself to lean back onto it. Bring both legs into table top. Extend one leg out and the other leg out. From here, really work hard to engage the abs in that pelvic floor for stability, and begin to change the legs. Now if you can't maintain this stability in a wider range of motion, go ahead and do it lower. You're still working all the same muscles. To add to the challenge, you can always bring your arms up and begin to scissor. Even a greater challenge would be to add speed to that scissor."
