So now we have the stretchers put together. We want to fit the canvas to the stretcher so let's see here. You want to be careful when you decide on the size of your fabric. That you leave enough room to really get some leverage when you're pulling it because you're going to be trying to pull it as tight as you possibly can. So this such a small frame it's not that big of a deal but with when you're working with a big frame you really want to have enough leverage. This is good on this side, that's too much so let's cut off some of this. Let's see, that's good, you want to make sure that it's enough fabric that when you're yanking it on it like this, you've got a good hold. You're knuckles come to about right there so. O.k. that's good and we cut off the excess fabric at the end but that will do for now.
