"Alright here's a good fishing tackle tip for you in terms of fishing for perch or pan fish, and that's simply modifying a spoon that you might normally use for walleye or bass or pike or lake trout which typically would have a hook attached right here. Now what we're going to do is simply add what they sometimes call a stinger hook. There's two ways to do this. You can buy some that are, that are premade and all this is is a piece of monofilament with a hook at the end and it simply has a clip right there that you clip onto the ring on the end of your lure. You would then bait that hook with a piece of worm or a maggot or a small piece of shiner, and so really all you're doing is you have an attractor right here to bring in fish from a distance and you're going to jig that up and down, pausing every once in a while, but again the silver is going to bring in the fish. They're going to come in, and when these smaller fish come in they're not going to attack this they're going to come and get right to the bait on the end of your hook. As an alternative, if you can't find one of these premade stinger hooks, you can simply tie a piece of monofilament to another hook and then just tie that to the bottom of your lure."
