"Let's talk now about one of my favorite things, which is how to store items such as jigs, hooks, sinkers, soft plastics. There's hundreds and hundreds of different options for you out there. All sorts of different tackle boxes, tackle types. What I find is the easiest way is just to buy a number of the same tackle holders, many different varieties out there, many different brands and sizes. What this allows you to do is to have different compartments for different size hooks, for sinkers, for bobbers, for tools, for lures. When this top is down and the dividers are in, everything is kept separately. Nothing comes in to a compartment where it doesn't belong. There's no tangles, there's no confusion, you know everywhere to find things. They also make very nice fly boxes that traditionally would be held, used to hold flies for fly fishing, but you can simply put your ice fishing jigs in there. It's a great way to organize them. You can organize them by size, by color, by type. There's also other options. Simply for soft plastics I usually keep them in the container they came in. Simply put them in a sealed Ziplock bag to keep out the moisture. A very important aspect of this is when you're done ice fishing for the day, always take all your tackle boxes out of your tackle bag, open them up and fully let them dry."
