"In this segment, we're going to teach you how to throw a change up. Now, we're going to throw both types of change ups, like we explained, as far as the grip is concerned. The first one is the backhand change up, where we have the four-seam grip, and the wrist is just bent back, as the ball is rotating backwards. The change up still has the same type of movement as it is in midair, at mid-flight, at its highest point, and then sinks when it gets to the plate. My All-Star pitcher Cody, will demonstrate. Now, the second type of change up, is the one that my pitcher Cody, is more familiar with. As she grips the ball in a horseshoe grip, similar to what a knuckleball would be, and as if she's pouring a glass of water, just letting it go, and letting the ball just float in, for across the plate, and that's how we throw a softball change up."
