"In this segment we're going to teach you the two seam fastball grip. Now the difference between this grip and the four seam grip is that now that the ball is rotated differently, showing the two seams here, firmly putting your fingers, your index finger and your ring finger on the ball. Normally, other times if your hand is bigger, depending on your middle finger and your ring finger is firmly on the seams of the ball. This type of movement causes the ball to go down more like a sinking type of a pitch, off the pitcher's hand, towards the plate. Like the four seam fastball, this type of fastball can be thrown at any part of the count. Normally if you're behind or if your count is fairly even or if your count is full at three and two, if you want your fastball not to be predictable with no movement, the two seam fastball can give you a sinking feeling which will give you more ground balls to your opponent or anybody that is hitting against you. That's how we grip a two seam fastball."
