"Alright, so from here you can just go and carefully put your hand in the pot, and just put your fingers on the bottom and you'll instinctually know how close this tool is. And, don't worry about all this, we can clean this up in the end. We need to get this off, you don't want to let that bunch up on you. But, you know how to get the rest of it off. By putting your hand in here, and you're, you just know how far to go, you just have to do it, it's hard to explain. Remove the clay, remove all that extra clay, alright. Now, that I've trimmed off as much as I feel comfortable trimming, I'm going to put my hand in there again, and I'm going to use, oop, I'm going to use my potter's knife to finish the bottom of the pot, o.k., like that. Alright, I think that's as far as we want to go with that, before our pot collapses, cause remember this is holding all of this up, so we want to be on top of that and make sure we know when to stop, and that's when we're going to stop."
