"And, you'll want to notice I left a lot of this clay down here, because later you can either go back and trim it, which is the easy thing to do instead of trying to make it all real thin. Some potters would laugh at the fact I left all that down there. But, however I'm not going to waste my time trying to throw out a super ultra thin pot, I just want to have some fun. But, what you could do is you could let it set up a little bit, you can take your needle tool, leave it on the wheel, don't cut it after you played with it and all that, but leave it on the wheel and start coming down with your needle tool, and just cut all that clay off of there, and just let it be. Alright, now if we tried to do that, the pot would say boom, and it would fall over. So, I'm just taking a look at it, seeing what I want to do. I know, first things first, oh. I like to do this to my rims, so it leaves a nice little mark when you put it in the kiln, it makes some nice, nice designs on there, so just go ahead and come down on it, o.k. See that, nice thing going on, very deliberate looking and then we're going to do some more stuff to this."
