"Alright, now I want to save that slip that came up. We'll use that to attach these things with later. Alright, so we want to start with our plunge. We want to locate the middle of this bowl, the middle of this chunk of clay that's about to be a bowl. Put our thumbs down, plunge all the way down to the bottom here. No, not all the way down to the bottom, I take that back. Plunge almost down to the bottom. There's another bowl that we don't want to go back and do much trimming on. We won't be able to do trimming because these things set in the middle, so you want to have this trimmed on the wheel. So, go back, get your needle tool, push it down in the middle, and you see we've got that much thickness. It's a good thickness. You don't want it too thin. This is something that's going to be moved around too. It's not going to sit on someone's mantel forever. It's going to be moved around, so you want it to be sturdy. So, go ahead right now and clean your hands off, and we'll get to throwing this thing. Just like that, get all of that off."
