"O.k. now that we've got our wedged piece of clay, you want to always check yourself because you don't want to find any inconsistencies down the road; especially when you have this much clay. So see how well you're wedging and all you got to do is cross-section; see that would have been a problem. And I thought I had wedged it well enough; see those folds there. That's a problem; you can see it starting right there. And it's real important to make sure you wedge it properly. So, when you think you've wedged enough; go back, re-wedge it; wedge it again. There; that ought to be well enough. And now we're going to go to the wheel; we're going to make sure we have all our tools ready and here we've got our rubber rib, our wire tool; needle tool, natural sponge; another natural sponge and potter's knife, these are all you're going to need for this project. And we got our water; nice fresh water and now we're ready to go to the wheel."
