"O'kay our first test cut now is going to be with this piece of stock, this is just a piece of scrap wood and I'm going to lay it flat up against the fence and butt it right up against this right about there, 3/4 of an inch deep so let's see how that goes. O'kay let's see what we've got. That looks good, that's right at 1/2 inch. It is 3/4 of an inch deep so that's what we want so we're ready to make some progressive finger cuts now and I'm going to show you how to cut those to make the parts for this box that I was showing you before. This is just kind of the body of the box and this is what our joints are going to look like so now we'll proceed to cut some stock for the sides and for the front and back and I'll show you the technique for cutting these in so that they fit together."
