"Alright so now what we're going to want to do is do what's called scratch and slip, and I've got my serrated rib right here; we'll just go and scratch the area where I want these handles to connect. So that's about good; yes, no big deal if it's up like that and I've collected some slip from my slop bucket which I'm going to use in connecting these once I get them cut. So we've got our piece ready; we've got, we've got our handles set up; now we've got our needle tools. Use the needle tool to cut off a proper amount of clay and you can just cut it off big and remove the clay later. So there's one piece; put that up there and two piece up there. They're relatively the same size and you get that ready. Make sure your hands are nice and clean and then from here we're going to go attach these guys on."
