"Alright so the same as any other thing that you're getting ready to make on the wheel; make sure your wheel head is nice and clean. Take any extra chunks of clay that are floating around from the last project; put it in the sludge bucket. Get your tools ready; the potter's knife, the wheel tool; two natural sponges alright, and blue rubber kidney because this is my favorite one; it's nice and flexible, he'll bend in any shape; it strengthens the clay up real nice. And you want to have your wire tool ready; no kinks, nice and clean; alright. Now that that's ready to roll; nice dry head alright. Nice clean bottom; let's find the center, right there. Alright, I can tell that's going to be just a little too much clay so I want to take that off; decided that in the last second there. And now we're ready to center; start throwing the walls, start depressing this clay."
