"Another way to go especially if you feel like just playing around, and you don't want to go out and buy a material or something. Just sort of look around your house and see what you have that could make a mark that isn't a normal thing to make a mark. I found some old shoe polish. Actually I use it sometimes when I make sculptures. I use it as a as a finish, but this is just your basic shoe polish. It it comes you know it doesn't come in colors, but it comes in a variety of browns and blacks. This is cordovan. And I'm just playing around with a a paper towel. This is not you know again you wouldn't want to do too much with brushes in this because frankly you're going to lose your brush. And this is something that will you can play around with with paint thinner or mineral spirits as opposed to de-natured alcohol. And again this is something you want to this is something you want to have good in good ventilation with when you're using it. And you can see that you can create you know washes. And again they're very they can be very very beautiful gradations sort of unexpected and you could probably even go back. I'm going to sacrifice the bottom of my pencil here and dig up some some stuff and see if I can draw back into this at all. Again it it's sort of like you're taking whatever you can find and seeing what it can do for you and what marks it can make for you. And I sort of you know one thing I like about this that you know what I'm putting on top has a certain amount of texture to it. And that will probably stay there. Now this is probably going to take a long time to dry. You know this won't be dry in in a couple of minutes or anything. The the mineral spirits part will be dry, but this part won't be."
