"Now we're going to talk about the importance of defining your image width and height when you place an image in photo shop. The way the Internet browsers work is that they before they start to display the page they download all the html information. And you know I can refresh this page and there's only one image on it it’s not taking a long time. But if I were to have a lot of images which some of the nicer web sites do it is so much better to just tell the browser what the image size is as opposed to having them you know look through it and figure it out for themselves. And so to do that we go into where our image is. We've got our alt text there so we've got our image source, the alt text and then after that we're going to define the width and I know that this is my sample logo I know it happens to be 350 pixels wide and then we're going to define our height and that is 145 pixels. So I will save that and refresh this and it should stay the same and it’s not really going to save time until you have like more than just one image on there. But something you want to steer clear from is accidentally defining the wrong image size and it ends up stretching the image and making you know you have to stay at the size that the actual file is for it to look good."
