"Hi my name is Dave Schoeneck, and I'm talking about skiing with spinal cord injuries. Now a very important part of skiing is just getting out there. And a lot of that comes down to the six inches between your ears. A lot of times there's timidity and fear about getting out and sliding down the side of a hill in the snow. This you're not real comfortable doing. But I think that once someone does get out there and they see that it is very feasible and it is safe and it's fun, that makes a big difference. And as we really are focused in, especially at Wasatch Adaptive Sports in Snowbird on safety, that brings a lot of confidence and comfort to people that are coming up to ski in a disabled program. Safety is number one issue. We want to make sure everyone's having fun, and as well learning and progressing. So again, it really does make a big difference having a positive attitude and coming up to learn and have fun."
