"So, we're going to look at the first part, the first three chords of this song. You know, it's a, " I walked along by the old canal," D-major and then a D-major 7, "a little confused, I remember well. I checked into a cheap motel," this is where it stops. And that last chord was a D dominant. So, the root of the chord is all D. Okay? And it moves from the D-Major to a D-major 7 to a D dominant chord and, which is the reason I chose this song for tremolo cause you can play one note and simulate the chord change. So, here's a D-major chord. Like I said before, I'm going to take the root and drop it down a half step to make the D-major 7 and then a D dominant chord, with that root drops again. That's your dominant chord and here I end up with this shape. So once again, using all tremolo, so if I was just using this, it kind of gets at the heart of the matter there with the chord changes. "Walks along by the old canal. A little confused, I remember well. I checked into a cheap motel." And then it goes on, but it's the idea that you can take this one note and move it down in tremolo and it simulates the whole chord change."
