"So, for a second, I wanted to go back to an important bowing that we learned that centers around the balancing point of the bow. So, the first thing you want to do is find that balancing point of your bow. This is going to be the ideal spot for you to do your spiccato. So after you've found that balancing of point, you can take your bow and kind of start bouncing it. Kind of like as if you were bouncing a basketball. (playing demonstration) And depending on where you're doing your spiccato and which string you're on your arm, again, going back to those levels is going to change. So (playing demo) So that is spiccato, again, to help you get use to playing the bow part."
