"So, let’s put some chords to that now. The same exercise, the same picking pattern. We will put the metronome back at eighty. We are just going to go up harmonize the G major scale. So it is going to go [play mandolin]. So, that is the exercise. Always keeping the down up/down picking pattern, it will help you to get the style of the music that you are looking for. It is to keep it in the right time and the right accent. That's why I choose this picking pattern."
