"Okay, before we start learning the song I want to orientate you to the style of playing. We're looking at a jig first, and so, jigs in 3/4 time, so one, two, three; one, two, three is what you're going to be counting. With your right hand you you want to use a picking pattern, which is more helpful. You're going to go down, up, down; down, up, down, okay? So the the the smallest pattern is down, up, down, but when you repeat, you you have two downs in a row. So, down, up, down; down, up, down. So if we can put the metronome on at, you know, put it on at sixty again, and then we'll move it up to eighty for you. So one, two, three; one, two, three; one, two, three; one, two, three."
