"And then what you do is of course, you take your motif and it has to alter, it has to distort to fit the new grid. So if you're going with a triangle in the middle it's actually so small you need a smaller felt tip. And you can see that as you move out the triangle is going to get bigger. It's going to get bigger both this way as you move out towards the side and it's going to get bigger this way. It'll get longer in this middle stretch. Until it's very, it's almost not a triangle anymore because it's so skinny and long. But you know, you look at the triangle over here and this triangle is going to be back to being your equilateral triangle out here. And gradated grids are, that's if you want to start playing around with illusions of space moving in, gradated grids is where you need to start playing."
