"Now I'll start by putting our pockets together. You want to make sure that when you cut your pockets out of the old jeans that you leave enough fabric around it to work with. So I have about 3/4" all the way around my pockets. Now you'll want to place the two pockets together. Right sides together. And just pin them in place. You can put a few pins to make sure they stay in place while you are sewing. And just check to make sure that they are matched up in there. And then we'll sew all the way around. Now if you want you can use a zipper foot. A zipper foot for your machine, so you can get really close to the edge of the pocket. We're going to sew around the pocket leaving the top open. Start your sewing right at the top of the fabric, even on the excess here. And just so as close to the edge of the pockets as possible. When you come to the corner, you can turn your needle in, and pivot the material and continue on. And then finish right here at the top. And just give it a little more reinforcement. Now we'll make the lining."
