Peek-a-boo Mat: Pinning on Tent

"I've chosen some pockets here and I cut the whole back section here including the waist band. The waist band and the belt loops are great for clipping rings or anything to. And then we had these nice zippers; it's fun to hide things in the pockets that your child can find. So we'll just place that where we think we want it and then next I found this great zipper and it actually zips very easily so for a child that will be a fun thing to zip. And I cut it in a triangle to look like a tent; so I'm going to pin that down, I'm going to fold it over just a little bit like this and I'll pin that down and we'll just top stitch everything in place. And inside my tent I made a little bear and we're going to be placing him inside the tent so that when your child opens the zipper there'll be a little peek-a-boo surprise in there. Now because we're going to have that in there we're going to want to trim out the excess fabric of the pants. So we'll first we'll start by pinning the items in place and then if you need to trim anything then we'll trim out like that excess fabric on the inside."
