"A nice classic yoga pose is the cobra pose, and there's a way you can transition it into your Thai yoga massage practice. The first thing I'm going to do is literally sweep her arms back. Perfect. And I'm going to come and place my knees right in the hips, reach down, grab a hold of her wrists, and ask her to grab a hold of mine. Go ahead and grab a hold of my wrists. Place your chin on the mat. You want to go with the breath here so talk to your client. Take a good inhale, exhale, gently lift. Perfect. Now as soon as I get into this position. Make sure their chin is lifted. She's got a beautifully nice curved back there and nice back bend. I'm going to make sure my own back is nice and safe. Straight spine, shoulders relaxed. I'm not straining at all. I'm going to ease her down. Do it one more time. Give a good inhale and exhale. Beautiful. Nice beautiful back bend. And I am going to gently ease her down. Don't drop them. Let her arms fall off to the side and then just give her a nice little back massage. A nice rocking motion making sure those shoulders don't pass the wrists and go up and down. Again, you can do this as many times as you like according to how much time you have. A little bit of meta. Gently release and coming on down."
