"Now I'm going to be talking about how to do volleys. Volley is a very simple shot. We're going to be using the continental or hammer grip. As you can see, the "V" on my hand is going to be right on the small panel on the side. Or if you want to call it just like a hammer, hit it like a hammer against the floor. You basically want to bring the racket to your side, as it was another face, your face, and the racket face. Make sure that your racket doesn't swing back, just think that, imagine that that's a wall behind your shoulders and then once you have your racket up here and you're going to, you're ready to contact the ball, you're going to step in and contact the ball in front of you. Pretty much around this area, you're going to contact the ball at this area in front of you and then finish the shot right with your racket in front of you and come back to the ready position. And this is how backhand volley is done, a forehand volley is done."
