"This exercise is called side jump squats. Now when we are doing cliometric type of exercises whether we are using the stairs or using some other type of equipment you want to make sure that you are ready for this because it takes a little bit more umph to do these types of cliometric exercises. Be careful with your knees, be mindful of your posture by pulling your abdominal muscles in and let's go. Side jump squats you are going to start at the side of your steps and you are going to use your arms to explode up to the stairs so up and step down, up and step down. Now as you are performing this really kind of keep an eye on the stairs and always keep safety in mind. And you can perform this exercise for about 30 seconds to a minute on one side and then just turn around and do the other side and those are your side jump squats."
