"Okay, we're back playing our long bows, with the German bow this time, working on still getting a big sound out of our instrument. Counting one more type of rhythm now, half note and half rests. So we're going to play for two beats, rest for two beats. Here we go, two, three, four, one, two, three, four, one, two, three, four, one, two, three, four, one, two, again on E, one, two, three, tip, one, two, three, four, one, two, three, four, one, two, three, four. Remember, you can always, due to all of the wealth of free information that's out there on the Internet, do a little research on these rhythms. See what these notes look like on paper, quarter notes, half notes, dotted half notes, because you might end up having to see some written rhythms some time and learn how to play along with that. Plus, it will give you a little better idea of what we're talking about. Again, doing the half note and half rest, you're going to play for two and rest for two. One, two, three, four, one, two, three, four, one, two, three, four, one, two, three, whole bows. All the time with the whole bow."
