"Now the next portion is we're going to be moving from a Plank position into Crocodile, otherwise known as Chatarunga. This is a very challenging part of the Sun Salutation. It's important to watch your alignment here as well in order to protect the shoulders. So we'll go through it really slowly. We'll go through it first from a kneeling position just to get down the alignment. So let's bring our shoulders over our wrists allowing our knees to come back slightly behind the hips so that we are in a kneeling plank position. Now our hands are shoulder distance apart. Now we're going to shift ourselves slightly forward so our shoulders are then going to come out passed the wrists and keeping our elbows very close, tight to the body, we're going to lower ourselves part way down and pushing back up. While as we lower ourselves partly down, some versions of Chatarunga have you dipping your shoulders below the elbows, but, for our purposes here, we want to keep the shoulders and elbows aligned with each other. You can also do this from a full plank."
