"So on the A string, or I'm sorry, the E string, you're starting with A. You want to tune your A with the A string. Now you are in third. One thing you're going to notice is that your third finger is going to be raised a bit when you're trying to do this exercise, and that is actually normal. You want that third finger to be raised; otherwise, it's going to be very hard for you to reach the fourth finger. So by letting your second and third fingers kind of go up a little bit to help you reach the fourth finger just will also help you reach the note each time. And you want to make sure that your fingers are also loose as well."
