"This exercise is squats with your towel. So, when you're using the towel with your squats, what it's going to do is just keep your upper body in alignment. And you can actually incorporate your upper back muscles when performing squats. This is really good if we if you're what we call a professional sitter. So if you're at your desk all the time, or if you're driving in your car, you tend to cave in through your chest. So what we're going to focus on while we're doing our squats is to pull the shoulders back, open up the chest, strengthen the upper back muscles, while we're working the lower body. So, your feet are hip width apart, pull your shoulder blades back, keep your abs in, squat back, and barely tap your rear end to the couch, and come right back up again, and squeeze your glutes. Inhale as you lower down, exhale as you come up and squeeze. Now as you're squatting, you want to think about pulling back, engaging your upper back muscles through the rhomboids, and exhale as you come up. And those are your squats using the towel."
