"Alright, I'm going to collect the this here slip; put it on the piece, get it all in there and then just start karate chopping that guy all flat. And while you're doing this one it's really important like the other one; keep your pinky down there because when you go flattening it out like this, see how it all centered against. You got to keep your pinky in there, keep that clay in its place; show it who's boss right there. I'm not going to let it get out of control; I'll keep on flattening it, compressing it; just like the other one you want to compress it. When you're making plates that's do... It would be a real bummer if you didn't compress all your plates because you got to set, if one of them breaks when they're firing you don't have a set anymore. So it's almost like ruining five pieces all at once. So there, we got it to my desired width on the wheel head; it's nice and centered. I'm going to go and start making this thing look like the other one."
